The Hobbit

The Hobbit from Brad Herring on Vimeo.

This is a short film about a hobbit who lives in a cloud chamber and is visited by an unknown stranger. I have left it up to the viewers to decide how it ends. If you have thoughts, please share them.

This video was made for the 1/24/09 Weekend Project contest by Vimeo.

Hope you enjoy...

Stella Dot and I just watched a bunch of videos from the Museum. Those superworms have a rough life, huh?

You get better and better. Loved the music. Very appropriate. MOM

Love the videos Brad -- E and H love watching them too. We have to get down to see you and get the babes together. I think your little hobbit should go outside and make a buttercup crown (obviously not until the spring) and give it to a little hobbit friend. Then they could watch the fireflies come out together.

Amy/Stella, I'm glad you liked the Museum videos. Maya points to computer now and says vi'os.

I'll have a new Munch Cam out every month so be on the lookout.

Molly, maybe you can come down (or we'll come up) and you can teach us how to make buttercup crowns. But if you come down we can all go and feed the hobbit together!

Holly, the hobbit hole is in the Museum Park at the Museum of Art. It is actually a cloud chamber that acts like a pin hole camera displaying the trees surrounding the building onto the floor of the chamber.
